Course Overview

The Practical Nursing Remediation Course is designed to focus on patient care principles and the role for the Practical Nurse in the healthcare setting. Upon successful completion, the student will be prepared for the PN-NCLEX and demonstrate the clinical skills necessary to operate in the capacity of a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida. Professional etiquette, ethics, morality and student enhancement for the Practical Nurse profession are expected.  

Mode of Instruction

Hybrid/Online- Self Paced, 5 days Clinicals IN PERSON

Face to Face: 7 weeks

Course Credits

180 clock hours made up of Theory, Lab, and Externship hours

Class times Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:30 a-4:30p / 5:00p-9:00p

Course Costs

MANDATORY ASSESSMENT EXAM - $100.00 (non-refundable)

The entrance assessment will test students on both content and test taking abilities to better assist in course delivery. 


Remedial- PN Remediation to include Clinicals $2150.00. 

Remedial PN excluding Clinical Component $1500.00'

Course Content

This course is required for individuals who have been referred by the Florida Board of Nursing. Students will acquire all components of the PN course including external clinical hours.

Remedial courses include lecture, simulation, clinicals, books, supplies, uniform, badge, and student insurance.

Course  Requirements

Entrance Assessment, Identification, Social Security Card, Level II Background Screening, Negative Tuberculosis/PPD, Physical Examination, MMR/Titer, Valid CPR- If expired cpr is offered for an additional fee.
