Joyce D. Rhynes Scholarship

ABout JoyCe D. Rhynes

Graduating high school at the young age of 16 years old, Joyce D. Rhynes has always displayed a passion for education.  Joyce is well noted for educating adults and children with both academic as life skills needed to become successful in any field. As Joyce waters, the seeds she has planted have sprouted to become Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Principals, Criminal Justice and Law Professionals, Entrepreneurs, and most importantly individuals who go above and beyond to care for others.  In honor of the selfless love to teach, love, and care for people of all nationalities, this scholarship has been dedicated to Joyce D. Rhynes. The scholarship will provide students the opportunity to receive tuition free education and further spread the love and care of Joyce D. Rhynes within the field of healthcare.

Tuition waived scholarship for 20 eligible students to receive Nursing Assistant Training.

Community CARE CNA

The Community Care CNA sponsored by the Joyce D. Rhynes Scholarship will provide tuition free training to 20 eligible students. Training will provide students with the education and skills required to sit for the Certified Nursing Assistant Examination within the State of Florida.  Students will be provided both theoretical, hands-on skills, and external clinical training throughout the duration of the course/program.


Pre-Registration: TBA 2024


Orientation:  TBA 2024


Class Days: Friday's   9: 30 a .m. - 5:00 p.m. 


Class Duration: Fast Track 4 weeks; 6 weeks for Full Nursing Assistant Program

  • Identification 
  • Social Security
  • Level II Background
  • Tuberculosis Screening
  • High School Diploma or GED; Not required.

  •  Student must have a sincere desire to be committed to course completion.
  • A Computer, Laptop, or tablet with stable Internet connection is required.
  • A uniform must be purchased. A discounted rate of $20.00 per uniform is offered to all admitted students.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Community Care CNA is a Fast Track course and may be completed in as little as 4 weeks! 


Please note students who desire the full program are required to attend for 6 weeks. 


The Community Care CNA tuition is being waived for all admitted applications. This means the tuition owed is $0.00. 


Additional fees- The institution does not cover admission requirements, such as background screenings or tuberculosis testing, one student uniform. The institution does not cover state testing fees.

Our nursing programs include clinical rotations in a variety of healthcare settings. Students enrolled in the Community Care CNA will complete clinicals at a licensed skilled nursing facility.  


The Community Care CNA course will require access to a computer, laptop, or tablet, with a stable internet connection. Students will meet weekly face to face, however reading online is required for those who choose not to purchase a physical textbook. 


Our nursing programs prepare graduates for a wide variety of nursing careers, including roles in hospitals, clinics, public health, schools, nursing homes, private duty, traveling assignments and more!


Yes. The theoretical, hands on, and clinical training provided will prepare each student to sit for the Certified Nursing Assistant Examination administered by Prometric.

A high school diploma nor GED is required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. 


Students who do not possess either, may complete the institutions Ability to Prove Entrance Test. Please ask for more information if needed.
